I just plug in my earbuds that came with my phone. They work great. I suppose you could use a bluetooth headset as well, but since I was having a problem with my S6 overheating I haven't tried it. I didn't want to tax my phone any more.

But you can use any headphones since the Gear VR allows direct access to the headphone jack. I normally use just ear buds. But just use what ever is comfortable for you
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Since the VR comes strictly from the phone, most bluetooth headphones should work well enough. Probably preferably in-ear headphones since over-the-ear headphones might not sit as well on your head with the VR band underneath.
