I don't use the band that came with this watch or my last one, and my dad doesn't use the one that we gave him for Christmas. (It's leather or leather-like and it makes my wrist sweat.) It is EASY to change the watch band, so find a band you like and swap it out. Just make sure that the band you select is 45mm Samsung Galaxy Watch3 compatible! I prefer the metal band so I purchased that for both of mine (the previous version and this one), and I purchased one for my dad. I removed 3 links from the band for me, but my dad did not remove any on his. I'm stating all of this to say that you can purchase 2 of the metal bands, if needed, and simply add the extra links from the first one to the second one if you need to. It's really easy and really comfortable.
