So far I have had no problems even when swimming in pool.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's water resistant. It has a setting that turns off the screen and button functionality if you're in the pool or something similar.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is waterresistant up to 50m depth. There is a setting you use to protect it. You access it by swiping down to bring up the settings pane, and then clicking water lock. This pretty much locks the screen so that it doesn't confuse water drops for finger touches. So you can track swimming, although the touchscreen doesn't work without changing the setting. With a downloadable app, you can track your swimming, nonetheless. But it is not suitable for scuba diving, so sayeth the Samsung website. There's a good review here, that I pretty much agree with: https://www.wareable.com/samsung/samsung-gear-fit2-pro-review
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes the Samsung Fit Pro 2 is waterproof. I bought it to measure swimming laps, speed. It is completely swimproof and even has a function to "lock" the screen when you are measuring your swimming so that the water or movement of your arms doesn't accidentally turn it off. I have only had it for a short while, through a total of four, hour long swims. Definitely a learning curve to figure out how to use-but is works great. I wear it when showering and running-and I sweat like I am swimming when I run. So far, so good.
