Yes I would say this could be unisex. I am a female and I have a very small wrist-it looks a little bulky on me but not terrible. On a larger person or on a man's wrist it would be just fine. It is not as skinny and slim as the older fitbit type styles.

I ordered a small as woman with a small wrist, and would have preferred a medium band if I could have tested the sizes.
