• It doesn't come with a stock photo viewer, but there are apps that will allow you to view pictures on the watch.

• I don't know if there are third-party apps that will let you browse the phone gallery, but I can tell you that the GEAR 2 gallery only displays photos (and videos) that were taken from the watch.
