• It may have been previously used with a Mac. You will need to format the drive in NTFS for Windows to see it. It would still show up in the Control Panel under Devices and Printers, so start there.

• Same thing happened to me and you wrote this 5 months ago. The drive wasn't showing up in file explorer. I typed in couldn't find volume Samsung t5 SSD on YouTube and a quick video went through what I had to do so my laptop would make the drive show up in file explorer. You either already fixed the issue or returned it but it is an easy fix.

• If Cole is correct, and it was previously formatted for a Mac, then I think Geek Squad is confusing "Refurbished" with "Used". If they're not even wiping user configured partitions, then plugging one of these into your computer is putting it at risk for a virus or malware, because autorun.inf exists.
