- Answer I had to format mine. Open your windows Disk Management (via right click on windows button) so you can access the drive to format it.

- Answer I use mine with my xbox one x and have all of my games loaded on it. I have been using it for 6 plus months with no problems and i propably play 8 to 12 hours a week.

- Answer Should work but I had to format it first. It does come with a usb type c and a USB type A cable. Mine was refurbished and no manual was included.

QuestionHow do you get a factory reset for this model? If I put a password and forget it, is there anyway Samsung can reset it?

- Answer I use mine with my S8 Samsung phone and they have a app for it. The app states that if password is forgotten that the only option would be to format all data on the drive.
