A: I had to format mine. Open your windows Disk Management (via right click on windows button) so you can access the drive to format it.
Q: Does it carry the same new factory warranty?
A: Yes, It's based on the hours use which you can see thru Samsung Magican download app.
Q: Will this work for extended memory for PS 4 Pro, X-Box One X, PS4? Any or none at all or?
A: I use mine with my xbox one x and have all of my games loaded on it. I have been using it for 6 plus months with no problems and i propably play 8 to 12 hours a week.
Q: Does this works for Windows and MacOS systems..?

A: Should work but I had to format it first. It does come with a usb type c and a USB type A cable. Mine was refurbished and no manual was included.
A: I use mine with my S8 Samsung phone and they have a app for it. The app states that if password is forgotten that the only option would be to format all data on the drive.
