• A:Answer Open Box means item is very good condition, returned by customer, for various reasons. Refurbished means the the Geek Squad took item tested functions of item, looked for scratches or scuff marks. Made sure all items were in box, like the cable, instruction and warranty statement. Geek squad removed all files on the drive before selling it. Many need to be initialized, by using windows 10 or 11. Initializing item formats it, and partitions the drive. You now have a drive without any files and have a 4TB storage capacity.
