You might not be doing it right.. Make sure you start the Bluetooth scan on your phone. Turn your on your Bluetooth headset and quickly hold the answer button on the headset until your phone discovers your Bluetooth. Works for me every time.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I also have a Note 4. It took a couple of times, but it did work. Easier to connect to the phone within the home rather than the car. If connecting in the car, turn off the vehicle bluetooth. Elsewhere, connect as directed. Hold until you hear the connect sound with Bluetooth on, then search the device. Should connect, but depending on your need, I would not waste time trying. I returned mine after 2 days of use.
