- Answer I didn't mount my bar but this information probably an be found in the instruction manual. I think Best Buy had links to manuals and of course you could just go to the Samsung site.

- Answer Hi Harpo, The Samsung HW-S50B soundbar uses an external AC power adapter, which connects the device to a standard electrical outlet. This adapter converts the AC power from your wall outlet to the DC voltage required by the soundbar. The power input port for this adapter is located on the rear panel of the soundbar. ~ Samsung Solutions

QuestionI have my soundbar hooked up to my Samsung TV with the provided HDMI cord. Is the Q-symphony feature automatically initiated or is there something else I should do to start it. I don't seem to have Q-symphony at present. Thank you.

- Answer Hello JBK, If your Samsung TV has the Q-Symphony feature Q-Symphony is only available when you connect the soundbar to the TV using an HDMI cable or an optical cable. You will also need to change the source on your soundbar to D.IN. To do this, press Source on the soundbar’s remote until “D.IN” appears. When the Samsung Soundbar is connected, the menu name such as "TV + Soundbar" appears under Sound Output (Settings > Sound > Sound Output). Select the menu. (Example: TV + [AV] Soundbar series name (HDMI) or TV + Optical) ~ Samsung Solutions

- Answer It comes with an HDMI cable and a place for it on the soundbar. The plug on the soundbar end does look a little different than a regular one.

QuestionHow do I get the woofer to work in this sound bar?

- Answer Hi John, Before performing the manual connection procedure, check whether the power cables for the Soundbar and subwoofer are connected properly and make sure that the Soundbar is turned off. Press and hold ID SET on the rear of the subwoofer for at least 5 seconds. The red indicator on the rear of the subwoofer turns off and the blue indicator blinks. Press and hold the Up button on the remote control for at least 5 seconds. The ID SET message appears on the display of the Soundbar for a moment, and then it disappears. The Soundbar will automatically power on when ID SET is complete. The LINK LED indicator stops blinking and glows a solid blue when a connection is established between the Soundbar and the Wireless Subwoofer. ~ Samsung Solutions
