QuestionCan I connect this soundbar to my Onkyo TX-SR393 Receiver which i use now for my surround sound? My Samsung PN63C8000 connects to this receiver now and all my sound goes thru the receiver. How would I do this?

QuestionDoes this have a HDMI input for a blu ray player? I just purchased a 4k blu ray and tv from best buy and the tv only has two HDMI inputs. Would be nice to be able to connect my blu ray player into the soundbar and the soundbar into the HDMI e-arc input.

- Answer Hello Dave, The HW-S50B Soundbar has 1 HDMI port to connecting to the TV and cannot pass through a 4K player through the soundbar. Make sure that you connect the soundbar to the TV ARC port of your TV as this will allow you to have full control of your soundbar with the TV remote. ~Samsung Solutions

- Answer Hello Jared, For the Bluetooth Multi-Connection feature on the HW-S50B Soundbar, this is for multiple smart devices. It is not able to connect to a TV and a smart device at the same time. Once you pair the TV to the soundbar it will disconnect any smart devices you already have paired with the it. ~Samsung Solutions

QuestionWe don’t have a Samsung tv - what’s the best way to control settings on this sound bar without one? Everything I see online, including the basic user guide, only includes instructions for best use with a Samsung tv.

- Answer We are using this sound bar on a Toshiba Fire TV and the volume can be controlled from the TV remote or on the sound bar itself. We have not had any issues using these options.

- Answer Hi Jim, You are correct that the HW-S50B does not have an HDMI In port, natively this is not possible with this soundbar. Our Q-Series Soundbars do have 1 HDMI IN port and 1 HDMI OUT port. Consider looking at one of those models if this is something that you are really wanting to do. ~Samsung Solutions
