No. As we have had it before and hung up. The quality of sound is the same

The Samsung logo should be on top of the Soundbar with the front speakers firing towards you. If your Soundbar is placed in such a way where the Samsung logo is facing you, then you will need to adjust the placement of your Soundbar. ~Samsung Solutions
