This tablet does not feature an option to connect to a cellular network, so a data plan is not required.

Interesting Question, the hard part is the fact that your using it for busiess purporses, that itself is a bit expeinsve , i suggest to you would be to go a No-Contact plan, you can always negotate and get cheapers prices, i recomended Metro PCS, they are always having sales and or a repeuable company, good luck
