• There is no pre-clean cycle. Not sure why you would need to "pre-clean". If the dishwasher is functioning correctly, with good detergent, it should clean the dirty pots pans and dishes without a pre-wash. We put our dishes in dirty, no rinse, just knock off the big chunks and let the machine do it job. This one does the job and does it great.
