If correct, you need to set your tv to match the port on the TV that is that HDMI plugin. On my Sharp TV remote, I have a button called "Input". When I push it, it shows all the input sources, such as TV, and different plugins which it calls "Input 1-8". When I plug into the HDMI and cycle through each of the Input numbers, it tells me on the TV which lines are "component" (or cable), or HDMI. I have to select the particular port and "enter" on my remote for it to connect and identify as HDMI or whatever. If you have the Note plugged in when selecting the different Inputs, it should display from your Note, assuming it is capable. You can check your TV where you plug into the HDMI and it may identify which Input # it uses. That will aid you in selecting with Input the correct HDMI port to see if it connects. I cannot specifically say the Note will broadcast through the adapter but if it does, should work similar to what I have described. Good luck.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use this with my Galaxy S5, but I have ran into issues depending on the TV. I found that some TVs won't accept the signal from the phone until the power is plugged into the adapter. You should find the power plug (micro USB) on the side of the HDMI adapter. You can use a wall adapter to plug in the power which should keep your phone charged as well. Alternatively, you can use the USB port on the TV if it is equipped with one, but it may not supply enough power to keep the phone fully charged.
