QuestionThis Samsung Notebook 7, SKU # 5712023...does it have..1-built in mouse and Microsoft Word most updated system? AND why would you use the SUB to Ethernet dongle instead of Ethernet Port?

- Answer It has almost all standardized Microsoft product in the setup, for the first time user, you’re required to update your system, which takes approximately five hours, perhaps less. The notebook does not have a Ethernet port, I have yet used the USB to Ethernet converter, so far the Wi-fi works pretty well.

- Answer There is no Ethernet port. A lot of the ultra thin laptops don't. You can always use a sub to Ethernet dongle.

- Answer It's a small laptop. It has no problem running Autodesk, processor and memory is fine. Hook it to an outside monitor and it's fine, but the on board video driver will bog some if you get crazy

QuestionI know this laptop has a M.2 SSD drive slot, but does it support SSD NVMe interface drives? (these drives are the fastest with Up to 3,200 MB/s Read Speed and Up to 1,900 MB/s Write Speed, like the Samsung Pro 960 EVO series.

- Answer I don't own this yet but I'm looking at it, and since it says 1T, I'm assuming it is SATA rather than SSD. If you found out differently in the last month, let us all know.

QuestionIs there a driver for the wifi/bluetooth adapter out there on the web I can download? Cannot connect to my wifi and the diagnostic states that it could be a wifi/bluetooth driver or hardware issue. laptop is 8 months old. Thank you.

QuestionIs it possible to have both the SATA 1 T AND install an SSD? My old ASUS had room for 2 drives so I was able to have the best of both worlds with speed and lots of room for downloading with a 1T SATA. I am hoping this may have the same ability of 2??

- Answer The OS drive is a 32gb eMMC drive soldered to the motherboard. The 3180 has a bay open for installation of an 2.5-inch HD, so you can add a standard 2.5 SSD as a second drive. The instructions are in the service manual on the Dell support site.
