- Answer No, I just bought it today and opened it up and the ram is soldered on and the SSD is a sata 2280 drive, NOT Pcie.

- Answer To be clear, this unit has an hdmi port and a usb-c port. You can buy a usb-c to hdmi adapter and send to another screen without sound. That and it will also still support your laptop screen gives you 3 to work with. However, note that the signal sent out through the usb-c port does not carry sound so it is solely for work not anything with sound. Of course, the standard hdmi output allows movies and other sound. QuestionThe specs on the Samsung website for this exact model (NP730QAA-K01US) say this computer is able to use an active pen. On the Best Buy website it isn't even listed as being Windows Ink compatible, which Samsung claims it is. Which is correct?

- Answer Yes this samsung laptop is windows ink compatible. It can be used with windows ink compatible styluses like the bamboo ink pen sold at best buy.
