QuestionDoes anyone know if you can add additional SSD storage? I need at least 250GB SSD for my programs. Thank you for your help!

- Answer It can support it but you'd have to take out the existing SSD and replace it. If you are tech savy, I'd recommend buying the notebook 7 spin with 12 GB of RAM that does not have a SSD. I installed my own 500 GB into that model, I bought a Samsung SSD which is generally around $170. Keep in mind any install by yourself voids the warranty. If you are not able to install your own SSD, I'd recommend looking at another computer that meets your needs already as installs are expensive.

- Answer It is a mix of metal and plastic, but the metal is where it needs to be. The back of the screen is metal, and the bezel around the keyboard is metal. The underneath side is plastic, however. Very sleak looking and well designed.

QuestionIs OS installed on the SSD? Is everything initially installed on the SSD? Also, was told by BB sales assoc the SSD is on a circuit board and not upgradeable. Elsewhere I see it can be upgraded to a larger one, e.g., 512 GB. Which is true?

- Answer The OS is on the SSD and every program/apps are on it as well. I'm pretty sure you can upgrade it because there was a pamphlet in the box about replacing the ssd requirements.

- Answer In my opinion, I don't hear any fan noise at all. My laptop is only about 3 weeks old. It's possible that this problem develops over time. But, brand new out of the box? No noise that I can hear.

- Answer Windows and all apps are installed on the SSD. I don't know about the links but I know you can upgrade to 32gb.
