Q: QuestionCan the system easily be upgraded to Windows 10 Professional operating system... We want this as a workplace lap top... If so, does it support a docking station for dual monitor setup?
Asked by Me.
- A:Answer You can buy an upgrade to Pro from MS or buy a full retail version of Pro and install it. If you buy the retail version you can install it on another device later if you ever change your mind about the Notebook 9 Pro in the future. The N9P will always be licensed for Win10 Home and an upgrade will be tied to the device you activate it on afaik. With the retail version you could install it as a virtual machine provided a virtual machine meets your needs/use case. You should be able to find a generic USB-C docking solution that will work for you. One thing to bear in mind is that the USB-C on the N9P doesn't support full 4K 60Hz video. A dual monitor set-up is supported either using the full sized HDMI or a video output from a USB-C dock if you get one that provides video options. Assuming that you intend using the devices screen and an external monitor. I haven't tried using two external monitors in any configuration so I can't offer any information on that scenario.

Q: QuestionI want more bigger soild drive . (for example 512,) how can i buy open box, exchange other opiton?
Asked by mark1234.
- A:Answer That's easy. Just buy the open box model, there are several listed on the site, then buy your 512 SSD and either have BB install it for you (not sure they will, must ask), or do it yourself. There are plenty of YouTube videos that can show you how to do it. SSD itself should run you around $170 before tax for the Samsung 850 evo 500gb m.2 2280 ssd.

Q: QuestionCan anyone please tell me if 13.3 inch version will also get an 8th gen update? I really prefer 13.3 inch as it's lighter and smaller. I would really appreciate it if anyone can confirm this for me.
Asked by Siaosiao.
- A:Answer I think they just released it. Samsung was scheduled to release the Notebook 9 Pen during the first quarter of 2018. I noticed it is now for sale on the Samsung site, along with the refreshed computers. All of them should not have the 8th Gen.... of course it was one week after I bought the Notebook 9 Pro 15" ;-)

Q: QuestionThe product features page states that it has a Dual-core processor, but I am quite certain that the 8550u processor is a Quad core. Also is the RAM really DDR3 and not DDR4? It seems strange to get a downgrade from a cpu upgrade only refresh model.
Asked by KBLakeR.
- A:Answer Yea the 8550u chip is has 4 cores. Probably a miswrite by Best Buy. They did miswrite the 13.3 inch version of the OG model to have external graphics as well. It didn't and they changed it in the end. As for the RAM, I am surprised as well. Hoping for it to be a mistake of Best Buy as well. It's bad enough that it does not get thunderbolt 3 on its usb c port......
