Definitely would not recommend this monitor for you, given your CPU/GPU.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mike your system will run the monitor if your are using this for just desktop purposes. However, the GPU (7770) is VERY underpowered for the system. It is very unusual for someone to use such a high end monitor with such an outdated pc. You are pushing close to 8 million pixels. I think a MUCH better way to go is to get a mid range 3440x1440 monitor for $500-600 and use the other $700 on a pc upgrade. Get a gpu like a AMD 5700xt for $400 and then wait until you can get a new cpu/mobo/ram combo. A AMD 6800 or Nvidia RTX 3060ti would be a better gpu upgrade but they are very new and will be very hard to get a hold of for another month or so. Your gpu needs an upgrade badly. If you game at all the 2gb ram is very insufficent for todays games.
