• Yes, it is the Odyssey G9 I'm not sure why Samsung decided to revise its model number but I own both the LC49G95TSSNXZA, LC49G97TSSNXDC models and I can say they are the exact same product.

• The difference is that the LC49G95TSSNXZA was recall because the panels were bad,and they replace the panels on all the recall and fix the problem and named it the LC49G97TSSNXZA.

• yes this is the g9 odyssey no problems if so i bought the 4 year protection plan.

• The one I order through Best Buy using the website link was the Model Odyssey G97 Gaming Monitor - LC49G97TSSNXDC. Not to be confused with the Samsung C49G9, which is a different monitor, it's black. The G97 Gaming Monitor is White. If you search the Samsung website, you need to use LC49G97TSSNXDC at the moment, or you will be taken to the C49G9.
