I think this is a valid monitor for the series x however it may be a little overkill since the series x is not EVER going to put out anything near 240 FPS. For a quality monitor this monitor is an easy choice and will be viable for years to come if you ever switch to PC for example or next gen xbox/ps. To sum is up you will be able to max the xbox series x potential for 1440p gaming with this monitor but you may want to save some bucks and get a cheaper monitor that caps at around 144hz. If money is no issue however definitely get this bad boy or the alienware equivalent if you are not a fan of curved monitors. I prefer this one for casual gaming since the contrast is much better but they are both great options.
