• I think it would do just fine on dark wood floors. The suction is strong, and it has soft bristles. Moreover, if it detects a lot of dust/dirt, it'll increase the suction and go back an over that area.

• Absolutely!!!! My daughter bought the Neato 65D and she also has dark floors. It does a great job too. They are both great robot vacuums.
