Can it handle shag carpet null

No, this unit does not work well on shag carpets.

I would not recommend a robot vacuum for shag carpet. I think it'll get tangled in the rotor. At this price point you might want to get the handheld Dyson instead.

It does not work on any of the shag rugs in my house. If you have any fringe on your carpets it willl eat it up and get stuck every single time.

That's a big negative. We have a shag throw rug in the bathroom and the threads get caught in the beater bar almost instantly.

I doubt it since it can't even handle any of my throw rugs or a large oriental rug.
