A:Answer Hook this unit up between your satellite or cable box and your television. It does NOT have a tuner (you will use your existing tuner on your cable box or satellite, just like you do today) but the unit has what is called an AV pass through, which works whether the DVD-VR375 is ON or OFF. A/V out from Satellite/Cable box to A/V Input on the DVD-VR375. Then, A/V out from the DVD-VR375 to A/V input on television.
The only trick is copy protected content, which will NOT record.
