A:Answer Yes, but it only displays a clock and notifications when closed. Even when you press the power button, you won't see your lockscreen or homescreen, just the AOD. There's a very thin magnet on the cover that triggers a sensor in the phone, telling it to display limited info when the flap is closed. You cannot wake your phone up by touching anywhere on the cover though, you'd have to open it to operate.
Notification LED is still visible when the flap is closed, makes it pretty convenient.
