What kind of toner does this take? null

• TONER CARTRIDGE MODEL AND YIELD - Black Standard: 700-page toner yield (MLT-D115L), Black High: 3,000-page toner yield (MLT-D115L)

It uses Epson 410. Be advised--you can only get the Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Photo Black in the XL version. Not all retail stores carry Epson 410. I use my printer mostly for Black ink and had to order the Black XL from Epson at full cost--no discount--no bargain!
