Hi Ken, Ellen with SmartThings support here. The first generation of the Lowes IRIS sensors use a proprietary Zigbee signal and won't work with SmartThings. Though the later generations of the Lowes IRIS sensors aren't officially supported to work with SmartThings they use standard Zigbee same as the SmartThings Hub and some members of our community have been able to use them successfully. If you don't mind doing some tinkering to get things working you may still be able to use them with SmartThings. It's one of the great things about our open platform! I highly recommend checking out our Community if you're not already a member and would like some more information. https://community.smartthings.com/
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have used the Iris contact sensors and they do pair easily. The Samsung sensors do seem much more reliable and mount much easier. (Alignment issues with the Iris ones)

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, as long as they are z-wave or other approved systems from the SmartThings site. I personally have used all the IRIS GE light switches and Kwikset door locks with no problems. All labeled for the IRIS system but integrated flawlessly on the SmartThings.

You may be able to pair some IRIS devices with SmartThings, however they're not officially supported at this time and you may have trouble pairing or using some of these products. Check our compatible products page below before connecting your devices to ensure that they are compatible with and supported by SmartThings to avoid any problems: https://www.smartthings.com/compatible-products
