• The best suggestion is to use high speed, cable internet from a internet provider because your monthly fee will allow you to have an unlimited amount. The devices that connect to the SmartThing Hub do not need data, they will send a signal to the hub.

• You do not need a data plan. You just need an intranet provider with a decent broadband connection
