• SmartThings requires an always on stable Internet connection, so no telephone modems here. On the remote chance this isn't some prank, I have to ask who still offers dial up service to the Internet? And of what use could this be as the fastest modem is around 56,000 bits per second? I pull my hair out as to how slow cell phone LTE is and that is 100 to 1000 times faster.
