Does this hub require to be plugged in via ethernet? null

Will connect using wireless connection, it's just not as reliable, seems to bounce a lot.

The version I bought which was the im6001 has the ability to connect via WiFi to your router - though it easier to use a cord. Version 3 I believe.

This works with WiFi or can be plugged in directly to your router.

No. connects via wi-fi.
