• No it is infrared so it does not work through a window. If you want an outside motion sensor that is compatible with SMart Things hub look at the Ecolink motion sensor and it works great if you put it under the eave a house.

• Probably not. Infrared doesn’t usually do well through glass windows. I haven’t tested it though.
