Yes you can. You would need a Wink 2 or Samsung hub in your cabin. The sensors would report to the hub, and the hub would transmit to the Internet. I suggest reading up on “creating robots with Wink 2” or “IFTTT” apps for Samsung Smartthings and Wink to get accurate instructions or existing apps for being notified about temp readings.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes! I have a system in my home and one in a hangar which is out of the SmartThings hub range so it is a separate system with hub in the hangar as well. You go to the more icon on the SmartThings ap and pick "Cabin." Then select the motion sensor and it will give you battery status and temp. Just checked temp in my hangar.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Smartthing home kit will work, comes with Hub, 2 contact and 1 motion. Connect this to your WiFI and you can monitor your cabin for security and the temperature.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. Will need SmartHub and Wifi and the Smartthings App. Then you can form rules based on existing templates regarding under what temperature range it should treat as normal and thus alarm if out of that range. It can send Smartphone notifications as well as text.
