“Does this only sit on flat surfaces or can you run part of it down into the sump hole to catch the water high before it hits the floor?”

• It’s only designed to sit on flat surfaces. We use it to sense water overflowing from the washing machine pump. When it senses water the washing machine shuts off.

• Unfortunately this only sits on a flat surface. The two sensors are on the bottom on the assembly
