Q: QuestionI bought these bulbs because it didn't work on wifi, but they won't even connect to my smart things hub. Why is that?
Asked by 2hypnotic.
- A:Answer You have to put it in pairing mode. I had the same issue with Alexa. Try turning the bulb on and off again. This should work. It wouldn’t pair with my echo until I did this. Hope this helps

Q: QuestionDoes this work with 5.0 gHz wireless?
Asked by Laura.
- A:Answer No, this is zigbee protocol not WiFi. zigbee doesn't use WiFi 802.11 but it does run on 2.4Ghz so it will interfere with some WiFi signals. You need a zigbee hub to use this. That may work on 5Ghz depending on your setup.

Q: QuestionDoes this bulb work with google home as the hub? Do I need a smart plug as well?
Asked by HubbaHubba.
- A:Answer Great question! The SmartThings Bulb does require the SmartThings Hub, or a device with SmartThings Hub functionality, and cannot link directly to Google Home. Once you have the SmartThings Bulb connected to a SmartThings Hub, you can integrate with Google Assistant. You can find out more information about integrating with Google Assistant on our Support page here -- https://support.smartthings.com/hc/en-us/articles/214837343. If we can assist in any way, please reach out directly to our SmartThings team at 1-866-813-2404 or [email protected]. Thank you! ~Samsung Brand Ambassador
