A:AnswerWarranty from Samsung is for 1 year. However, after one year---if you took out the Geek Squad policy, it would be covered for the length of the policy.
A:AnswerDishwashers don’t have a housing, as they are intended to be surrounded by cabinet furniture. In your described application you will expose the green insulation that covers the outer part of the appliance, therefore, not esthetically appealing ( in my opinion).
A:AnswerWe appreciate you asking, Sunshine1! I checked the specifications, and this model is not listed as having a fingerprint resistant coating. ^Jecca
A:AnswerHello valcb75! The reason your dishwasher is opening is that it has an auto-release door. At the end of the cycle, the door automatically opens to circulate air and improve drying performance. ^Nic
A:AnswerA full normal wash with dry cycle takes 1 hour. The nice feature which I love it the last 15 minutes the door pops open the fan keeps blowing to cool everything down.

A:AnswerThe great thing about this dishwasher is that it has a top rack above the top rack that is meant to hold very thin or small items that might otherwise blow around the dishwasher and that is where the fan on top is located. There is lots of room and if your dishes fit in the top rack, you don't have to worry about the fan because it is protected by the "other" top rack. You actually have to worry more about the fan above the bottom rack on this one, and there is plenty of room there too.
