No, this ssd wouldnt work that way. You need a nas deck to do what you are trying to do.

I am not sure at what you intend but if you tell me what the actual devices and model numbers are, I could get a better picture. You can connect it to a router via a USB to USB-TYPE C connector and access it as a network device, of course, the passthrough would be via your router.
Only if your router/computer has a USB port; the device can be connected with a USB-C or a USB3 cable, both included. Then the drive can be accessed via the router/computer.
