How long are the USB cords that come with the drive? null

Short, about 12". Do your homework when purchasing longer cables. Very few that are guaranteed for USB Type C Gen 2 bandwidth for a type C to type C connection.

The USB 3.1 Type-C to C cable is just slightly longer than 18.5 inches. The USB 3.1 Type-C to A cable is right at 18 inches.
