- Answer You most certainly can, and with ease, i create multiple folders to do that very thing, so i can cross modify and set temporary holds to know what and when I've transferred and edited.

- Answer Yes, if you set up a daily back up procedure and use a program like Samsung's Magician Software 8.1. I have my SSD hooked up to my laptop computer all the time. It is easily disconnected if I shut down my laptop and go on a trip and then shows up immediately upon connecting the USB cable

QuestionWhat is the correct direct link for user manual PDF download? The pdf link on BestBuy.com (under From the Manufacturer tab) goes to wrong products’ pdf (for T7 TOUCH models), as do PDF links on various Samsung websites.

- Answer I use it with my iPad Pro, so I’d assume so. If you want to use a password on it then download Samsung Magician app and you can use it just fine. You just need the cable.

- Answer I can’t answer this question with any authority. As a minimum I think you would need some additional hardware in the way of an adapter and possibly a special cable. I say that because the Samsung drive requires power and I don’t think an iPad can supply to an external device.

- Answer Hello Macabee, I believe it should be compatible. I am planning to use my Samsung T4 to backup a rather antique white MacBook that is running Sierra 10.12.6, and it's supposed to be compatible. I had to get an adapter cable, as well, since my MacBook is USB 2.0 compatible. You could confirm this with Best Buy's Geek Squad to be sure. Best, Cynthia
