Is this a better player then the Samsung 9500 null

Hello Yes, this is a better player and a little more expensive. I have both model players (the 9700 in the living room and the 9500 in the bedroom) and I am very well pleased with both model players. The 9700 has a few more features and I purchased it more recently. I have always been well pleased with Samsung products ( I also own three of their tv's). I hope this information has been helpful.
