“how the heck do you take the monitor arm off of this thing?? have unscrewed the very bottom piece but the part that connects to the monitor won't come off. I've tried yanking it, nothing is budging.”

I had the same issue but persisted - it is just a matter of applying more force with a bit of a wiggle thrown in. I think in the end I found something in the manual or on Youtube that convinced me I was not going to break it.....
