“connecting to an iMac system I have new 27 inch iMac. This has grainy resolution after I connected via HDMI to iMac via thunderbolt. What do I need to get super crisp clarity. The iMac is 5K, but this should look pretty close and is very, very grainy”

Hello Dave, I have a MacBook Pro Retina that I use with two of these monitors. They didn't look that good until I plugged them in with active Thunderbolt to HDMI adapters. Don't know if that will help you or not.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.To get the full resolution you will need a DP to Thunderbold cable. I ordered mine on Amazon. Don't use HDMI it has a limited resolution. If you lack thunderbolt your Mac is too old for retina resolutions.
