no, it does not have a cable jack nor does it have rca. but if you are that interested you can always get adaptors to make it work

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Kind of difficult to answer.. Yes it can but yet no it can not, it does not have a TV tuner built in, thus you would have to have an cable box. It does not have RCA so it would have to have display port or HDMI in from your cable box to your monitor. If all those requirements are met then yes you could use it as a TV, same as you could hook a blu-ray player up to it via HDMI and watch a movie. TV TUNER= no, this means you can not use it to decode channels, you must have a cable box to do so. RCA= no, it does not have RCA inputs, therefore anything you wish to hook up to it would have to have HDMI or Display Port connections (both cables are supplied with the monitor).
