Yes it will work if you think that SEK2500U One Connect Evolution Kit is the only problem that you are having. With the SEk-3500, you are literally upgrading Hardware and it is as good as buying a new TV. My Samsung TV was 9000 HU bought it 3 years ago just for its future upgradability.
