We purchased the UHD Evolution Kit for the exact same television. It works great. The updated software design and format is better than the factory software that came with the TV when we purchased it new. The New UHD Evolution Kit streams in 4K from YouTube Netflix and Hulu. I like how it up converts from 1080 to 4K. Great purchase and great price. My family loves it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The kit only works with sets 2014 or older. The JS series wouldn’t see any benefit from this. Examples of what it improves would be the 65HU9000 (which I have so I can confirm). If you have any set after 2015 it most likely has the newer technology. Especially if it is a 9000 series like you state. Hope this helps, I’ve done a ton of research into this before I bought.
