I was in the same boat (3 ports were outdated, 1 supposedly supported 4K but not HDR). As much as I thought and wanted my TV to work, there was nothing to do. So I got this kit, which did the trick. It will update all 4 ports to 4K HDR. Keep in mind you need HDMI AND HDCP versions both working in your favor. So for PS4 Pro and Chromecast Ultra, I can confirm this kit is good. That said, there's a brand new HDMI version on the way later this year. If you don't want to be left behind again in a few years, you may want to think about holding off and upgrading all your devices next year (things will start to be 10K).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will support hdcp 2.2 across all hdmi ports. However, the panel of the TV can't be upgraded but you will see HDR like quality, it just won't be full HDR. When I upgraded my TV with the evolution kit Netflix went from recognizing 4k to 4k HDR.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe it will. This Evolution Kit is compatible with all Samsung 2014 UHD TVs (models HU6900 and above) as well as all 2013 Samsung UHD TVs (F9000 and S9). Since you have the HU7200, it is compatible. I installed it on my 2014 75" curved TV and was then able to hook up a HDR 4k Bluray player with HDCP 2.2. Before disconnecting the original one You will need to back up the settings through the menu then hook up the new Evolution kit and restore the settings to it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, I had the same issue and was told the TV was icompatible with Directv and needed the 2.2. This kit fixed that problem. Samsung will not be making anymore.of these kits and the 3500u is the latest and greatest.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It did in my case and there is a noticeable difference in the clarity and quality of the picture with true Ultra HD being broadcast. I only have 2 Ultra HD movies currently but upgraded to UHD on Netflix and have Amazon prime which also has Ultra HD available. I had other issues with my bose sound bar so I had Best Buy Geek Squad come out and while it was $150 for the service call, it was worth it as we would not have figured it out ourselves. Good luck!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
