“Will SEK-3500 kit work on model UN50HU6830, or only on models HU6900 and higher? My system menu there's option to back up data so it's available after evolution upgrade is installed . Samsung Canada support is useless, we can't buy any evolution kit here.”

All information I've seen, which wasn't much, after extensive research indicated that this only upgrades HU6900 or higher models (I upgraded from a HU7250).

This is only compatible with HU, S9 and F9000 series models.
