A:AnswerThe supplied speaker wire is approx. 13' long. If connected I suggest 24 gauge stranded speaker wire using silver electrical solder. I purchased RCA AH100R 100ft for less than $5.00 at BEST BUY. It may refer to 24 gauge as cable calibre 24. It is usually best to keep the speaker cable as short as necessary because the longer the speaker cable the more watts are necessary from the amplifier which in turn may require heavier wire as well. Also, the lower the wire number eg. 20 gauge or 22 gauge is thicker than 24 gauge wire. I'm extending my speaker wire to approximately 20' feet. I experimented with the supplied wire connecting 2 speaker wires together (no soldering) to 26ft. The sound was just as clear and performance equal. I was very careful not to incorrectly cross speaker wires or positive with negative. I think the receiver module provides 54 watts of power to the speakers (2). I didn't measure it assuming approx. 25 watts to each speaker. I'm certainly not an expert at any of this electronic stuff and I hope you are happy with your outcome.

A:AnswerPlease advise which wireless rear surround sound speakers I could purchase from you that would be compatible with my Samsung sound bar model HW-KM45C.
A:AnswerSomething is definitely not right. I own the same sound bar and volume control goes well above 6.
I believe the sub woofer 'gain' has a +/-6 range. Could you possible be controlling the subwoofer and thinking its the volume? On the remote, there at two small tab controls side by side. Of those two tab-controls, the one on the right-side controls the subwoofer "volume", while overall volume is controlled by the left-most of the two tabs.
If thats not the issue, check your TVs (or console/cable-box) output. Depending on make/model, you may have to select a specific output source (ie. Optical) from whatever you are using to push signal to the sound bar.
Finally, to test the bar itself independent of the optical cable, you can connect it to a Bluetooth smartphone, play some music, and try and control audio directly from the buttons on the soundbar itself. If none of those options work, might be worth taking it back for a replacement. Good-luck!
