    • Answer I have the first generation Canon 1D, which uses a SD or Compact Flash. I imagine they maynot be the same. Just purchased the Canon R5 which take a SD and Cxpress card. The new SanDisk cexpress is a new media card. My wish to these companies would be to stick with the SD and CF cards, because you will need to purchase a media reader at some point and they are not cheap around $79.
